A breeze heavy with promise seemed to glide over and through him as he stepped briskly through the slick, rain blackened street...A sea of coiling mist arising as the emerging sunlight gathers moisture from the pavement and caresses it upwards in an intimate dance...a bright sun, whose searching rays leave a comforting weight on his warming shoulders lifts the corners of his mouth. All the while birds sing in a golden morning moment that for a heartbeat seems to gather, stretch and pause before the abstract colour and jazz of the city slowly teases his awareness.
